    Job SummaryThe General Manager(s) at THE CAVE fosters a team environment among the staff, is an example of exceptional customer service, and ensures that all staff members perform at a consistently high level. He/she makes sure the center hits its financial goals as well. Ultimately, the General Manager(s) are responsible for all aspects of center operations including Mini-Golf, Laser Tag, Ropes Course, Bowling, VR Arcade, Bumper Cars, Axe Throwing, amusements, food & beverage, parties, equipment and property.

    He/She:

    • Achieves financial objectives by developing and monitoring the performance of financial operational plans/budgets, sales & marketing plans to support the overall objectives of THE CAVE. Controls labor and expenses in all areas of operations. Analyzes variances and initiates corrective actions. • Manages the day-to-day operations of the facility. Works directly with all management and supervisory level staff (direct reports). Sets guidelines and oversees the plans and organization of work and staff schedules, identifies opportunities for improvement and resolves issues. • Hires, trains, and manages direct reports to accomplish performance goals. Provides developmental coaching and guidance to all direct reports. Conducts planning sessions and performance reviews with direct reports and disciplines when necessary. • Achieves and maintains overall guest service goals. Oversees the guest service model, ensures guest concerns are resolved appropriately, and that appropriate service recovery gestures are made to ensure complete guest satisfaction. • Develops and implements creative strategies to increase overall facility revenue. Increases group event sales revenue through effective management of sales team, and creates actionable and measurable sales deliverables. • Oversees management to provide a consistent and superior food & beverage experience to guests. • Ensures compliance with all applicable occupational, health and safety regulations and laws. Creates an environment where safety comes first and staff Members enjoy the working environment. Oversees Safety Program and ensures Staff Members comply with THE CAVE’s safety policies. • Monitors center equipment/attractions working condition, appearance and ensures cleanliness is a top priority and that problems are resolved expeditiously.

    In addition the GM(s) are also specifically responsible for:

    · Implementing Systems for Cash Control and maintaining POS system and updates

    · Oversee Accounts Payable and Receivables

    · Approve and process payroll

    · Prepare and report all Tax documentation not prepared by company accountant

    · Supply company accountant with required documentation as requested

    · Maintenance of Daily Receipts Reports

    · Generate and Maintain Income reports

    · Monitor and report Payroll Percentages

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Operations Manager, IT & Maintenance, Kitchen/Restaurant Manager, Group Event Sales Manager, Technical Supervisor and Shift Supervisors.

    Qualifications:

    Proven experience as a Hospitality Manager and/or General Manager is preferred

    Familiarity with hospitality and Family Entertainment industry standards

    Proficient in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus

    Ability to resolve issues with a customer-focused orientation

    An outgoing personality

    Excellent communication skills

    Strong organizational and time-management skills

    Bachelor’s degree in Management is preferred
