Crisis Line & Safe House is seeking a dynamic, strategic, and mission-driven leader to serve as the Director of our Family Justice Center, One Safe Place Macon. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead a collaborative, survivor-centered model that brings together multidisciplinary partners to support individuals and families impacted by domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse, and other forms of interpersonal violence.
This is an in-person position located in Macon, Georgia.
Essential Job Functions: Administration • Responsible for the implementation of the One Safe Place Macon strategic plan. • Provide leadership and direction in the implementation of One Safe Place Macon goals and policies; responsible for management of all areas of services and operations. • Maintain the integrity of the lead agency role of Crisis Line & Safe House of Central Georgia in One Safe Place Macon implementation. • Provide programmatic input into ongoing construction/renovation • Provide oversight for hiring, training, retention, and supervision of all One Safe Place Macon staff to ensure quality client services. • Oversee preparation of annual budget for One Safe Place Macon as well as monitor and approve expenditures in coordination with Executive Director. • In coordination with Executive Director and development personnel maintain, manage, and report on One Safe Place Macon fiscal matters and budgets. • Provide oversight and support for outside contracts with consultants or vendors. • Execute comprehensive marketing and branding strategies that will ensure consistency throughout the Center.
Program Oversight • Responsible for developing and continuously improving appropriate systems, policies, protocols, and procedures that support effective, victim-centered operation of One Safe Place Macon. • Develop and maintain evidence-based, trauma responsive, effective, and culturally competent programs and services. • Ensure effective systems to track services and regularly evaluate program components. • Ensure complete and accurate data collection by all program staff.
Partnership and Community Collaborations • Serve as the primary staff liaison to the One Safe Place Macon Executive Committee and Steering Committee. • Develop new and strengthen existing collaborative partnerships. • Increase the Center’s visibility and leadership via collaborations and organizational networking. Provide strategic leadership to build alliances with key stakeholders. • Participate in and/or facilitate community meetings and trainings to promote One Safe Place Macon and bring awareness to issues related to interpersonal violence. • Network with other family justice centers, Alliance For HOPE International, and other leaders in the victim services field to ensure implementation of best practices.
Fundraising and Grant Management • Maintain compliance with all grant requirements including data collection and reporting. • Support development personnel in donor prospecting, cultivation, and solicitation including identifying opportunities for major gifts. • Support development personnel in capital campaign and any future fundraising campaigns.
