We are seeking a Family Law Associate Attorney with prior litigation experience who is motivated to grow professionally while playing a meaningful role in a high-performing, growth-oriented practice. This position offers substantial client responsibility, courtroom exposure, and the opportunity to contribute to the continued expansion and success of the firm.
Key Responsibilities
Represent clients in family law matters, including divorce, custody, support, and related proceedings
Manage a full caseload from intake through final resolution
Develop and implement strategic case plans tailored to each matter
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal memoranda
Appear in court for hearings, conferences, and trials
Negotiate settlements and manage case progression effectively
Maintain organized case files and ensure timely movement of matters
Provide clear, professional communication throughout the case lifecycle
Collaborate with attorneys and staff to support workflow and operational goals
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Licensed and in good standing in Texas (additional jurisdictions a plus)
1–3 years of family law or comparable litigation experience required
Demonstrated strong work ethic and a high level of accountability
Ability to manage a demanding caseload with efficiency and attention to detail
Strong oral advocacy and courtroom presence
Excellent legal writing, research, and analytical skills
Professional judgment and ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
Interest in contributing to a growing, performance-driven practice
Fluency in Spanish very desirable
