Responsibilities: Manage a caseload of family law matters from start to finish • Handle all phases of cases, from intake to resolution, while ensuring deadlines and client needs are consistently met. Prepare motions, affidavits, legal arguments, and trial materials • Draft clear, persuasive documents that strengthen client positions in negotiations, hearings, and trials. Represent clients in court hearings, ADR sessions, and mediations • Advocate for clients with professionalism and confidence in both formal and informal proceedings. Advise clients on strategy and next steps to reach their goals • Provide practical, tailored legal guidance that empowers clients to make informed decisions. Maintain clear, proactive communication with clients and opposing parties • Keep clients updated on case progress while managing communications with opposing counsel and other stakeholders. Collaborate with experienced paralegals and legal staff • Work closely with a supportive team to ensure thorough preparation and smooth case management. Conduct legal research and stay up to date on Minnesota family law • Apply statutes and case law to strengthen arguments and anticipate changes that may affect cases. Ensure ethical and professional standards are consistently upheld • Protect client confidentiality and maintain the highest level of integrity in every aspect of representation. Keep casework organized and moving forward through strong follow-through • Use established firm systems to track progress, manage tasks, and ensure efficient resolution of matters. Qualifications: • Licensed and in good standing with the Minnesota Bar. • 2+ years of experience in family law, with familiarity with MN procedures. • Detail-oriented and dependable—you’ll have strong systems and paralegal support behind you. • Skilled in clear, professional communication with clients, courts, and colleagues. • Able to manage multiple cases with structure and efficiency—our team handles intake, billing, and admin, so you can focus on your legal work. • Comfortable using legal and case management technology—we provide Clio, MS Office, Westlaw, and more to streamline your day. • Collaborative and open to feedback—we work as a team, not in silos. • Committed to client experience—our attorneys guide clients with compassion and professionalism at every step. Compensation: $100,000+ annually including salary & performance-based incentives
