Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in family law cases, including divorce, child custody, child support, alimony, and equitable distribution.
- Handle all aspects of litigation, from case initiation through trial, including discovery, motions, mediation, and court appearances.
- Provide legal counsel and advocacy tailored to each client's needs and objectives.
- Maintain clear communication and a strong attorney-client relationship.
- Draft legal documents such as pleadings, agreements, and court filings.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop case strategies and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Attorney in North Carolina or ability to obtain
- At least 1 year of experience in family law litigation is required.
- Strong litigation, negotiation, and client advocacy skills.
- Excellent legal research, writing, and oral communication abilities.
- Ability to manage a caseload efficiently and work both independently and as part of a team.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: Base plus commission, with earning potential ranging from $70,000 - $140,000 per year (dependent on experience).
