Contract Attorney – Family Law (Memphis, TN) Culpepper Law Group, PLLC Culpepper Law Group is seeking an experienced Contract Attorney to assist with family law matters on an as-needed basis. This person must be a self-starter and independent. Ready to hit the pavement running type of person. This position is ideal for an attorney who values flexibility and professional autonomy while working with a high-performing, client-centered team. Compensation & Schedule • $100–$125 per hour , depending on experience. • Flexible scheduling — hybrid or remote options available depending on court schedule. Responsibilities: • Represent clients in divorce, custody, modification, and enforcement hearings. • Conduct mediations, negotiations, and court appearances. • Draft, review, and revise pleadings, motions, and orders. • Maintain regular client communication and case updates. • Collaborate with legal assistants and paralegals to prepare for hearings and trials. • Conduct legal research and develop case strategies. • Maintain detailed time entries and notes in the firm’s case management system. Qualifications: • Licensed to practice law in Tennessee and in good standing. • Minimum 2 years of family law experience required. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to manage multiple active cases independently. • Professional, punctual, and highly organized.
