Responsibilities: • Attend court proceedings as needed to represent clients • Organize and maintain client files to ensure they are kept current • Prepare legal documents such as legal pleadings, motions, marital settlement agreements, contracts, judgments, and orders for a high volume of cases • Communicate with senior partners and paralegals to effectively move through the civil litigation process • Assist clients effectively by understanding their needs analyzing the situation then strategizing and deciding on a proper course of action Qualifications: • Candidates should be great negotiators and communicators, specifically in situations when emotions and stress are high • Strong knowledge base of representing plaintiffs and defendants • At least ten years of working in a law firm on family law issues is required • Active member of the Florida Bar Compensation: $150,000 yearly
