Responsibilities: • Lead the Charge: Take primary responsibility for a diverse caseload, including high-net-worth divorce, complex custody battles, and intricate asset division. • Be the Strategist: Develop creative, winning litigation and settlement strategies that others might miss. • Mentor & Grow: Act as a go-to resource for associates and help shape the firm's culture and processes. • Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations, ensuring their rights and interests are protected. • Draft, review, and finalize legal documents, including prenuptial agreements, divorce petitions, and parenting plans. • Provide clear, compassionate guidance to clients navigating sensitive family law matters, fostering trust and understanding. • Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and ensure compliance with current laws and regulations. • Collaborate with colleagues and external experts to build strong cases and achieve favorable outcomes for clients. • Maintain detailed case files and documentation, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date. • Advocate for clients in high-stress situations, using negotiation and conflict resolution skills to reach amicable solutions when possible. Qualifications: • At least 5 years of experience in family law, with a focus on divorce, child custody, and high asset complex cases. You know the statutes like the back of your hand. • Courtroom Presence . You view the courtroom as your second home and have the trial record to prove it. • Mindset. **** You are proactive, not reactive. You look for solutions before problems arise. • Communication. You can explain complex legal jargon to a stressed client with empathy and clarity. • Ability to draft and review legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and marital settlement agreements with precision. • Proven track record of representing clients in court proceedings, demonstrating strong advocacy skills. • Comfortable working collaboratively with paralegals and senior partners to ensure efficient case management. • Strong organizational skills to maintain and update client files accurately and promptly. • Experience in handling the division of marital assets, including real estate, during divorce proceedings. • Ability to remain composed and negotiate effectively in high-stress, emotionally charged situations involving sensitive legal issues. • Juris Doctor degree required. Must have passed the Colorado Bar. Compensation: $130,000 - $200,000+ yearly
