We are looking for a Family Law Attorney with 3–8 years of Florida family law litigation experience who is ready to step into a high-accountability, high-autonomy environment and own a demanding caseload from inception through trial. You will manage complex domestic relations matters, contested custody, high-asset property division, modification proceedings, and dependency intersections, with the support of a dedicated COO, elite administrative team, and purpose-built operational infrastructure. Benefits 401(k) with employer match Holidays and Paid Time Off Immediately bonus eligible Responsibilities: • Draft pleadings, motions, contracts, marital settlement agreements, judgements, and orders for a high volume of cases • Organize and maintain client files to ensure they are kept current • Help solve legal problems for clients through analyzing the situation, understanding their needs, and creating a strategic plan of action • Ensure clients are effectively represented at court hearings as needed • Work closely with paralegals and senior partners to ensure swift action through the civil litigation process Independently manage a sophisticated family law caseload from client engagement through trial and post-judgment proceedingsDraft and argue motions, pleadings, discovery, and settlement proposals to a consistently high standardLead client consultations with a focus on converting qualified prospects to retained clients and managing client expectations with clarityStrategically cross-serve domestic relations clients into estate planning and related transactional mattersCommunicate proactively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel, without requiring administrative follow-upOperate natively inside the firm’s cloud-based practice management system, digital portals, and automated document workflowsMaintain billing discipline and meet established productivity benchmarksUphold the standards, brand, and culture of the Law Office of Erin Morse in every client and court interaction Qualifications: • 4-year degree with a legal background and J.D. degree are necessary for this position • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, especially in highly stressful and emotional situations • Experience at a legal firm working on family law and real estate issues (determining marital property) for at least 1-2 years is required Has been first chair in at least 1-2 trials in the last yearFlorida Bar Membership: Active and in good standing. No exceptionsLitigation Exposure: Must include high-conflict custody matters, contested hearings, discovery management, and trial preparation. GAL, dependency, or psychological evaluation experience is a significant plusConsultation Conversion: Comfortable conducting consultations that inform and move qualified clients forward into representation Compensation: $100,000 - $115,000 yearly
