Responsibilities: • Collaborate with senior partners and paralegals to effectively move files through the civil litigation process • Assist clients effectively by understanding their needs analyzing the situation then strategizing and deciding on a proper course of action • Draft pleadings, motions, contracts, marital settlement agreements, judgements, and orders for a high volume of cases • Manage the division of marital assets, including real estate, during divorce proceedings when needed • Maintain client files to ensure they are properly organized and up to date Top 5 Responsibilities: Own Case Strategy and Legal Judgment • Independently determine case strategy and next steps without routine owner involvement. Produce Filing-Ready Legal Work • Draft motions, pleadings, agreements, and correspondence that are accurate, compliant, and ready to file. Manage Clients and Cases Proactively • Keep cases moving forward and clients informed, oriented, and prepared. Move Files Through the System • Work effectively with paralegals and staff so cases do not stall internally. Qualifications: • Undergraduate degree with a legal background and Juris Doctor degree required • Member in good standing and actively involved with the ABA (American Bar Association) • Candidates should be great negotiators and communicators, specifically in situations when emotions and stress are high • Prior work or studies in criminal justice preferred • Strong knowledge base of representing plaintiffs and defendants Compensation: $150,000 - $175,000 yearly
