Candidates without Family Law experience will not be considered for this role. We are a growing law practice searching for a paralegal with extensive expertise in all parts of family law who can hit the ground running and lead the paralegal and legal assistant team. You will be a member of a dynamic and developing team. Applicants should be experienced, well-organized professionals who can work alone and with little supervision. Compensation is negotiable based on experience, and there is the possibility of receiving bonus compensation for exceptional achievement. Responsibilities: • Track and calculate progress on all deliverables to meet deadlines • Organize, manage, and evaluate discovery and records • Examine and prepare all financial disclosures and statements • Speak with clients to provide quality service, answer basic procedural inquiries about their case, and obtain information about their legal difficulties • Perform legal research for motions, hearings, and other legal assistance Qualifications: • Knowledge of standard office administration software such as the internet, email, word processing, case management, time and billing, legal research, and document management is required • Candidates should possess high-level organizational skills and time-management skills Characteristics: • Detail-oriented to keep track of key dates and avoid costly mistakes • Self-starter with the ability to independently seek out new projects • Team-oriented with the necessary flexibility of a growing law firm • Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks, so we never miss a deadline • 10+ years of previous experience working in Family Law in Washington is required • Experience in training and leading junior paralegals and legal assistants • Ability to work in person in Seattle, as needed Compensation: $70,000 - $115,000 yearly
