Responsibilities: We are looking to expand our team to protect more children and support more families. As a Family Law Paralegal at Children First Family Law, PC, your responsibilities will include: Case Management: • Assist with initial consultations and intake procedures. • Organize and manage case filings from initiation through resolution. • Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, and courts to ensure the timely progression of cases. • Prepare and maintain accurate timelines, case status reports, and deadlines. • Handle calendaring of court dates and deadlines. • Track and assist with billing and ensure timely timekeeping. Legal Research and Document Drafting: • Draft pleadings, discovery requests and responses, motions, status reports, and settlement documents. Client Interaction: • Serve as a key point of contact for clients, providing updates and answering questions. • Conduct client interviews to gather relevant facts and documents. • Provide empathetic, professional support while maintaining strict confidentiality. Team Collaboration: • Work closely with attorneys and legal staff to support case strategies. • Participate in team meetings and contribute to case planning and workflow improvements. Qualifications: • At least three years of experience as a paralegal in family law. • Strong understanding of Colorado family law procedures. • Excellent organizational skills and multitasking abilities. • Proficiency with legal software and case management systems. • Exceptional communication and writing skills. • High ethical standards and professionalism. • Passion for supporting families and children with compassion and integrity.
