    Our client's growing family law practice is seeking an experienced Family Law Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of family law experience and be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing a busy caseload from inception through trial.

    Responsibilities

    Support attorneys throughout all phases of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, child support, modifications, enforcement actions, and related proceedings

    Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, correspondence, and other legal documents

    Prepare and organize case files, exhibits, and trial notebooks

    Manage case deadlines, court filings, and attorney calendars

    Coordinate hearings, mediations, depositions, and client meetings

    Review and summarize financial records, tax returns, bank statements, and other supporting documentation

    Communicate directly with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and third parties

    Assist attorneys with trial preparation and courtroom support as needed

    Maintain accurate case management records and ensure timely follow-up on all matters

    Qualifications

    5-10 years of family law paralegal experience required

    Strong knowledge of Texas family law procedures and court rules

    Experience handling a high-volume caseload in a law firm environment

    Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software

    Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

    Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines

    Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys and staff

    Paralegal certificate preferred but not required based on experience

    Preferred Experience

    Trial preparation and courtroom support

    Drafting complex family law pleadings and discovery

    Reviewing financial documents and preparing asset summaries

    E-filing experience in Texas state courts
