** Job Description** :

As a Paralegal at ONDA family law firm, you will play a crucial role in supporting one of our partner-level attorneys with all aspects of family law cases. Your responsibilities will include:

** Key Responsibilities** :

• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, affidavits, and discovery requests and responses.
• Manage case files and ensure all documents are organized and easily accessible.
• Assist in the preparation for trials, hearings, and mediations.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and other parties involved in cases.
• Schedule appointments, court appearances, and depositions.
• Monitor deadlines and ensure all filings and submissions comply with court requirements.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of all client and case information.
• Provide administrative support as needed, including answering phones, managing calendars, and handling correspondence.

** Qualifications** :

• Bachelor’s degree, or Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program; or substantive legal work experience under the supervision of a licensed attorney
• Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Paralegal, preferably in family law.
• Strong understanding of family law practices and procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in legal research tools and case management software.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
• High level of professionalism and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
