Our growing law firm is looking to hire a family attorney who is fiercely passionate about representing clients facing one of the most challenging times in their lives. The primary job function is to assist clients with initiating and finalizing divorces and other child-related matters. Attorneys will carry some of their own cases and will work closely with a partner on others. The job entails a significant time in a courtroom. Experience in handling legal issues such as child abuse, child custody, and domestic violence is also helpful. If you have a proven record of success both in and out of court, apply now! Responsibilities: • Divide marital assets, including real estate, when necessary during divorce proceedings • Help solve legal problems for clients through analyzing the situation, understanding their needs, and creating a strategic plan of action • Attend court proceedings as needed to represent clients Qualifications: • Must be a licensed Texas attorney and not awaiting bar results • Must have no less than 3 years in family law • Must live in the Dallas metroplex or be willing to commute to Dallas Compensation: $135,000 - $195,000 yearly
