Responsibilities: • Represent clients in court proceedings as needed • Divide marital assets, including real estate, when necessary during divorce proceedings • Create legal documents such as pleadings, motions, marital settlement agreements, contracts, judgements and orders for a high volume of cases • Communicate with senior partners and paralegals to effectively move through the civil litigation process • Advocate on behalf of clients by understanding their needs, effectively analyzing the situation and forming a strategy for a plan of action Qualifications: • Extra consideration for those with a criminal justice background • Proven record of success in advocating for plaintiffs and defendants • Active member of the ABA (American Bar Association) • Great negotiation and communication skills, particularly in stressful and emotional situations • Must have worked on family law issues for at least 1-2 years; handling of real estate also required Compensation: $80,000 - $110,000 Plus bonus
