Candidates should have courtroom experience. Candidates should be adept at preparing necessary legal documents in connection with prenuptial agreements, initiating and finalizing divorces, maintenance, child support/child custody, and real estate. Experience in handling legal issues such as child abuse, child custody, and domestic violence is also a must. If you have a proven record of success both in and out of court, apply now! Responsibilities: • Organize and maintain client files to ensure they are kept current • Create legal documents such as pleadings, motions, marital settlement agreements, contracts, judgements and orders for a high volume of cases • Help solve legal problems for clients through analyzing the situation, understanding their needs, and creating a strategic plan of action • Attend court proceedings as needed to represent clients • Manage the division of marital assets, including real estate, during divorce proceedings when needed Manage your caseload from start to finish with dedicated mentorship from experienced attorney Qualifications: • Undergraduate degree with a legal background and Juris Doctor degree required • Extra consideration for those with a criminal justice background • Candidates should be great negotiators and communicators, specifically in situations when emotions and stress are high • Strong knowledge base of representing petitioners and respondents • Must have worked on family law issues, with at least 4 years of legal experience Compensation: $120,000+
