    Our law group is growing, and we are looking for a sharp family attorney who will zealously represent clients in all areas of family law. You’ll assist individuals in a variety of situations, such as navigating prenuptial agreements and attending court hearings for divorce, alimony/spousal support, and child support. The prime candidate will have experience with a range of sensitive legal issues such as child abuse, child custody, and domestic violence, and be able to maintain composure, negotiate, and argue effectively even in emotional and high-stress situations. Benefits: • 401(k) matching • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Life insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Responsibilities: • Organize and maintain client files to ensure they are kept current • Advocate on behalf of clients by understanding their needs, effectively analyzing the situation and forming a strategy for a plan of action • Represent clients in court proceedings as needed • Manage the division of marital assets, including real estate, during divorce proceedings when needed • Communicate with senior partners and paralegals to effectively move through the civil litigation process Qualifications: • Great negotiation and communication skills, particularly in stressful and emotional situations • Extra consideration for those with a criminal justice background • Experience at a legal firm working on family law and real estate issues (determining marital property) for at least 1-2 years is required • Strong knowledge base of representing plaintiffs and defendants • Active membership with the ABA (American Bar Association) • Licensed Massachusetts Family Law Attorney with 7 + years of hands-on experience in divorce and family law • Strong courtroom presence with proven litigation and negotiation skills • Ability to independently manage cases from intake through final judgment • Confident communicator who can counsel clients effectively under pressure • Organized, reliable, and committed to providing strategic and compassionate representation Bonus Points If You: • Experience handling real estate issues within divorce matters (marital home division, buyouts, etc.) • Familiarity with Clio, Lawmatics, and Microsoft Office Suite • New Hampshire bar license • Comfortable with tech and remote collaboration tools • A referral network or book of business Compensation: $100,000 - $115,000 yearly
