Family & Marital Law Associate Attorney
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Family Law Associate Attorney with 2-4 years of relevant experience; litigation experience is a plus. The ideal candidate will be confident managing cases from intake through resolution, demonstrate strong technical and interpersonal skills, and possess a proactive, solution-oriented mindset. You will work closely with clients, senior attorneys, and opposing counsel, playing a key role in all phases of family and marital law matters. Benefits: • Growth opportunities • Bar association and continuing education memberships • Fees and dues covered • 401(k) plan • Generous PTO Responsibilities: • Manage family law cases from start to finish, including client intake, drafting pleadings, and preparing financial affidavits • Draft Marital Settlement Agreements, Parenting Plans, Prenuptial and Postnuptial Agreements • Communicate effectively with clients and opposing counsel • Attend and participate in mediations, client meetings, and court proceedings • Act as a scribe during Collaborative Process meetings • Assist in drafting presentations and represent the firm at networking events and functions • Utilize Clio, Family Law Software, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word • Track billable time accurately and consistently • Participate in marketing and outreach efforts on behalf of the firm Qualifications: • J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to the Florida Bar ( New York Bar as well a plus) • 2-4 years of experience practicing family law; litigation experience preferred • Proficiency in Clio, Family Law Software, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint • Excellent legal writing, research, and communication skills • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage complex tasks • Experience drafting client-facing documents and technical writing Compensation: $110,000 yearly potential DOE
