    Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and highly organized full time preferred or part time Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner to join our growing medical practice. This position is ideal for a self-starter who takes ownership of patient care, follows through reliably, and is interested in becoming a meaningful part of the practice—not simply seeing patients and completing shifts. In addition to providing high-quality primary care, the Provider will have opportunities to participate in several office-based clinical programs. These programs are designed to improve patient outcomes while rewarding productivity, initiative, quality, and engagement. The ideal candidate is hardworking, dependable, efficient, and comfortable managing responsibilities independently while collaborating closely with physicians and staff. Excellent bedside manner, strong clinical judgment, timely documentation, and consistent follow-through are essential.

    Responsibilities

Evaluate patients, obtain detailed medical histories, perform physical examinations, and develop appropriate assessment and treatment plans

Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions within the scope of practice

Order, review, and interpret laboratory testing, imaging, and other diagnostic studies

Clearly explain diagnoses, test results, treatment recommendations, and expected outcomes to patients

Prescribe medications and therapies in collaboration with the supervising physician

Complete accurate and timely documentation, including closing charts and addressing follow-up items

Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, medical assistants, specialists, and other members of the healthcare team

Participate in the practice’s clinical and patient-care programs, including preventive care, chronic disease management, care coordination, and quality-improvement initiatives

Proactively identify opportunities to improve patient care, office efficiency, and clinical workflows

Maintain strong organization and follow-through on results, referrals, messages, and patient care needs

Contribute to a positive, accountable, and team-oriented practice culture

    Qualifications

Current and unrestricted Physician Assistant/ Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice

Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant/ Nurse Practitioner program

Fluency in different language is a plus (Spanish or Russian preferred)

Excellent clinical judgment, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills

    Strong organizational and time-management abilities

Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage competing priorities

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and bedside manner

Experience with medical terminology, electronic medical records, clinical documentation, and diagnostic testing

Dependable, hardworking, and committed to high-quality patient care

Interest in professional growth and becoming a long-term part of the practice

Primary care or internal medicine experience preferred, but qualified and motivated candidates will be considered

    Compensation & Efficiency Bonus Structure

Competitive base compensation with additional performance-based bonuses designed to reward productivity, efficiency, quality, and meaningful participation in the practice.

    The bonus structure may consider:

Maintaining an appropriate patient volume while preserving high-quality care

Completing documentation accurately and within required timeframes

Reviewing and addressing laboratory results, imaging, messages, and assigned tasks promptly

Minimizing unnecessary delays, incomplete charts, and outstanding work queues

Maintaining efficient patient flow and reasonable visit times

Participating in eligible clinical programs, including preventive care, chronic care management, remote patient monitoring, and quality initiatives

Meeting established quality, patient-satisfaction, attendance, and compliance standards

Helping improve office workflows and supporting the overall success of the practice

Efficiency bonuses are not based solely on the number of patients seen. Eligibility requires accurate documentation, appropriate medical decision-making, strong patient care, reliable follow-through, and compliance with practice policies. Specific performance targets and bonus amounts will be reviewed with the candidate and may increase as the provider’s responsibilities and contribution to the practice grow.
