Required Skills
- Ensure a safe patient environment and adherence to all safety policies.
- Take thorough patient histories, perform physical exams, make assessments, and provide accurate diagnoses.
- Evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for patients
- Serve as an expert in disease management and prevention for all ages
- Order routine labs, screenings, and therapeutic procedures as indicated.
- Assist with clinical checks and evaluations of Advanced Practice Professionals in the clinic.
- Administer or prescribe medications within the scope of practice.
- Document patient care accurately and in compliance with clinical, coding, and billing standards.
- Strive to become a subject matter expert in Medicare Adult Wellness Visits, HCC coding, CMS STARS, and HEDIS measure capture.
Required Experience
- Current California Medical license
- Graduate from an accredited Medical School.
- Graduate form an accredited Family Medicine Residency program.
- Evidence of continuing education and self-development to support license requirements.
- Board Certification from the American Board of Family Medicine
