    About the Role:

    Jewish Family Service of Somerset is looking for a compassionate and driven Family Mentor Program Coordinator and Outpatient Therapist to join their dedicated team in Somerville, NJ. In this dynamic dual role, you'll have the unique opportunity to both coordinate meaningful family mentorship programming and provide direct therapeutic support to individuals and families in the community.     Responsibilities:

    Coordinate and oversee the Family Mentor Program, including recruitment, training, and matching of volunteer mentors with client families

    Provide individual, family, and group outpatient therapy services to a diverse caseload of clients

    Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans

    Monitor and evaluate program outcomes, maintaining accurate case documentation and compliance with agency standards

    Collaborate with community partners, referral sources, and interdisciplinary teams to support client needs

    Facilitate mentor support groups and ongoing training sessions to ensure program quality

    Participate in outreach efforts to promote program awareness and community engagement

    Requirements:

    Master's degree in Social Work

    Active NJ licensure (LSW, LCSW) required or in process

    Experience in outpatient therapy, case management, or program coordination preferred

    Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities (CBT, trauma-informed care, etc.)

    2+ years work or internship experience in a social service setting

    Excellent organizational and communication skills with ability to manage multiple responsibilities

    Culturally competent with experience serving diverse populations and family systems

    Ability to work collaboratively with volunteers, staff, and community stakeholders
