    Urgent BMWIT needs a Family Nurse Practitioners (FNPs) Family Nurse Practitioners will provide comprehensive primary care for patients across all age groups, while recognizing and addressing mental health needs. Responsibilities will include prescribing initial medications and delivering health counseling, with a strong emphasis on holistic, patient-centered primary care throughout the lifespan. FNPs are expected to promote health, prevent disease, and educate patients to assist individuals and their families in managing both acute illnesses and chronic conditions. Candidates must possess licensure in Oregon and Washington. Collaboration with a team of experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs) and Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs) is essential. Successful applicants will demonstrate self-motivation and confidence in their professional capabilities. Additionally, proficiency in case management and working with diverse patient populations is required. Work in Oregon and WA State You must live in Oregon or Vancouver WA. You will be working in between both location and will be able to provide telehealth. Can not be out of state

    Other duties: diagnoses and treats psychiatric disorders, prescribes and manages medications, and provides individual or family psychotherapy. They focus on holistic care, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of therapists and medical professionals to support patient wellness. Core Responsibilities

    Patient Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and psychosocial assessments for new and established patients.

    Diagnosis & Treatment: Formulate differential diagnoses and develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans for behavioral health disorders.

    Medication Management: Prescribe, monitor, and adjust psychotropic medications while educating patients on risks, benefits, and treatment protocols.

    Psychotherapy: Provide counseling and therapeutic interventions, including talk therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT).

    Care Coordination: Collaborate closely with clinical social workers, psychologists, and primary care physicians to ensure continuity of care.

    Holistic Wellness: Promote lifestyle modifications, preventive health strategies, and self-care to optimize overall patient well-being. mentation: Maintain timely and accurate clinical records using the practice's Electronic Health Records (EHR) system.

    Case Consultation: Participate in daily operations, staff huddles, and case review or consultation sessions with team members.

    Qualifications

    Licensing: Active Nurse Practitioner license (typically an ARNP) and unencumbered DEA registration.

    Certification: Board Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC), with specialized mental health or psychiatric experience depending on the practice requirements.

    Skills: Strong clinical foundation in psychopharmacology, compassionate communication, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team.

    Additional Focus Areas: Many group practices prefer—or are willing to train in—neurodivergent-affirming care, trauma-informed practices, and treatments like Spravato/ketamine therapy.
