Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) – Primary Care Brooklyn, NY
We are a small, growing, patient-centered primary care practice in Brooklyn seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our team. This role is ideal for an NP who values clinical autonomy, predictable scheduling, and providing high-quality care across the lifespan in a supportive practice environment.
Schedule
Four (4) days per week: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
Nine (9) hours on site per day
36 hours on site / 32 paid hours per week
One (1) hour unpaid meal break per shift
One (1) hour paid administrative/documentation time daily
Approximately seven (7) hours of patient-facing care per day
One Saturday per month
All major holidays off
Patient Volume
Typical schedule supports an average of 2–4 patients per hour, depending on visit type (new patient, follow-up, acute, chronic care, televisit).
Compensation
$65–$70 per hour, based on experience
Hourly, non-exempt position
Opportunity for hourly rate review after 6–12 months, based on performance and practice growth

Clinical Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive primary care to children and adults
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions
Perform preventive care visits, physicals, and routine follow-ups
Conduct basic gynecologic exams, including Pap smears and STI screening
Order and interpret diagnostic tests and labs
Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to support continuity of care
Maintain timely, accurate documentation in the EHR
Requirements
Board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
Active New York State NP license
Completion of New York State–required 3,600 clinical practice hours and eligibility for independent practice
Comfortable providing care across the lifespan, including pediatrics
Comfortable performing routine GYN exams (e.g., Pap smears)
Eligible for credentialing with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance plans
Primary care experience strongly preferred
Bilingual Spanish strongly preferred
