Family Nurse Practitioner

The Company: Our client is a Maternal-Fetal Medicine practice located in Columbus GA, providing specialized fetal assessments, and consultation for mothers with high-risk pregnancy concerns.

The Position: A Family Nurse Practitioner performs general health and OB assessments on low and high-risk patients and fetuses. They should also manage maternal-fetal complications according to protocol.

• $100,000 - $130,000 Per Year Depending on Experience

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in nursing MSN required for Nurse Practitioners
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as an advanced practitioner in a relevant field required.
• Experience in Maternal Fetal Medicine and or OB clinical or Womens' Health nursing preferred.
  
• Maintains current AIDS certification.
• Must be credentialed with Georgia Medicaid

Responsibilities:

• Monday – Friday (8am – 5pm)
• Manage maternal-fetal complications according to protocol.
• Provide appropriate prenatal and postpartum education and management for women with low and high-risk pregnancies.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals on high-risk OB patients and function as an essential member of the Perinatology team.
• Work directly with and under the guidance of the Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialist in an outpatient setting.
