Job Summary

We are seeking a 104 Nurse Practitioner who MUST BE FULLY LICENSED TO BE ABLE TO WORK INDEPENDENTLY AND is duo certified for Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our team at Great Minds Counseling and Skills Building Center in San Bernardino, California. (MUST BE FULLY LICENSED TO BE ABLE TO WORK INDEPENDENTLY) We are a start up Health Agency that has potential for considerable growth. This position is a Part-time position that requires you to be in the office only twice per month, Bi-weekly. We offer a competitive salary that will be discussed in detail at interview. As an NP, you will be examining patients (including mentally challenged patients), collecting patient medical history, and making tentative diagnoses on minor and major issues. The ideal candidate has an excellent bedside manner, experience charting in a medical environment, and has strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Examine each patient, take a detailed medical history, and chart everything medically important in their records

Read test results, interpret data appropriately, and make diagnostic suggestions based on those results

Explain to the patient test results and expected health outcomes

Qualifications

Valid California State licensing required

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Experience with medical terminology, charting, and diagnostic tests

Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
