Job Title: Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) – Holistic Private Practice

Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner to join our team on a part-time basis, with the possibility of expanding to full-time based on patient volume, provider interest, and mutual fit. The ideal candidate is passionate about holistic and preventative care, comfortable managing a wide range of acute and chronic conditions, and skilled in building lasting relationships with patients and families.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages in alignment with holistic and integrative health principles.
Conduct physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans.
Manage acute and chronic illnesses with a whole-person approach.
Educate patients on wellness, nutrition, lifestyle changes, and preventive care.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within the practice.
Document patient encounters and maintain accurate medical records in the EHR system.
Prescribe medications and alternative treatments in accordance with state and federal regulations.
Stay current with best practices in family and holistic medicine through ongoing education and training.
Qualifications:
Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
Current certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C or FNP-BC).
Active and unrestricted state license to practice as an NP.
DEA license and prescriptive authority (or ability to obtain).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-based care environment.
Preferred Skills & Attributes:
Experience with nutrition, herbal medicine, and lifestyle counseling.
At least 1 year of experience preferred, but new graduates will be considered on a case by case basis.
Comfortable discussing non-conventional treatment options respectfully and professionally.
Empathetic, patient-focused approach to care.
