We are seeking a Clinical Specialist II for our Therapeutic Day Treatment Program. This position offers an opportunity to work in a team environment where you will use your education, training and skills to implement proper therapeutic interventions, and serve as a liaison, advocate, and coordinator of other service offerings, that will better the student’s chances for ongoing success in the school. You will work closely with school personnel, students, families and other members of the FPS team, to ensure a supportive environment is always available for our students, families, schools and our employees. This position follows the school schedule, allowing work/life balance.

    Qualifications:

    Qualified Mental Health Professional - Children (QMHP-C)

    In order to successfully apply for this position; you must, at a minimum, be registered as a Qualified Mental Health Professional - Children (QMHP-C) through the Virginia Department of Health Professionals.     Bachelor’s Degree in the Human Services Field

    1500 documented hours of experience working with Children that has been diagnosed with a mental illness

    Master’s Degree in the Human Services Field (Preferred)

    500 documented hours of experience working with Children that has been diagnosed with a mental illness
