About your Role:

Assist consumer’s in finding financial support

Assist consumers in identifying educational goals

Assess the effect a consumer’s mental illness has on employment

Plan and implement an ongoing employment strategy

Educate consumers in skills that aid in maintaining employment

Participate in quality improvement and staff training activities

Assist in the development of the ISP

Ongoing assessment of clients’ needs

Provide Crisis Intervention Services to the client and/or family

Link clients to needed services and advocate for clients as needed

Participate in clinical meeting, staff meetings, and staff trainings

Conduct or participate in case reviews and/or case staffing as required

Complete a minimum of 40 hours of training during each 12 months of employment, including the timely completion of trainings required by the agency.

Does the Following Apply to You?

Minimum required education is a High School diploma or equivalent.

Preferred education bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college, preferably in the field of rehabilitation counseling.

At least two years of training or supervised work experience in vocational rehabilitation and support.

Preferred at least one year of professional housing support experience.
