SUMMARY
This is a full time clinical position at the Caiyalynn Burrell Child Crisis Center in Asheville, NC. Looking for a licensed clinician to be part of a strong clinical team serving children 6 -17 of age in an inpatient setting. Flexible scheduling possible, as hours can vary across weekdays, weekends, day time hours and evening shifts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Complete phone and onsite screenings to assess risk and need
Complete Comprehensive Clinical Assessments
Facilitate group and family therapy sessions
Conduct individual therapy session
Complete CSSRS, CALOCUS
Facilitate Child and Family Team meetings
Work in conjunction with a case manager at the facility to plan appropriate discharge services
EDUCATION/LICENSING REQUIREMENTS
Master’s degree from an accredited school in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or a related field
Must have a clinical license in North Carolina
Be able to pass state and federal background checks
Driver’s License and proof of automobile insurance
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum of two years experience with behavioral health patients
Intermediate PC skills required
