    SUMMARY

    The Coordinator is responsible for the development of staff competence in service delivery and the management of staff productivity in accordance with regulatory requirements and FPS Policy, Mission and Philosophy. The Coordinator reports directly to and receives supervision from, the Department Manager.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Enhance staff’s ability to perform by teaching and modeling technical knowledge and skills, time management, communication skills, and conflict management skills.

    Provide regular individual and/or group supervision as appropriate.

    Supply staff with regular feedback, coaching and constructive criticism on job performance.

    Implement and monitor corrective action plans. Conduct performance evaluations.

    Identifies unmet training needs.

    Conduct staff meetings, case consultation, in service trainings and other staff development activities.

    Ensure service delivery is performed in accordance to agency mission, policies and philosophy.

    Manage staff’s adherence to Medicaid, LME, and Division (MH/DD/SAS) guidelines.

    Track and monitor the progress of individuals and families receiving services. Collect and apply data to improve client outcomes.

    Track and monitor that staff are appropriately assessing needs of recipients, developing appropriate treatment plans, providing best-practice interventions, accessing resources available and supporting consumer’s movement across levels of care as appropriate.

    Manages staff’s participation and adherence to the requirements of “first responder” crisis response on a 24/7/365 basis to consumers experiencing a crisis.

    Meet the organization’s quality improvement and evaluation requirements.

    Delegate and oversee work assignments.

    Submit timely documentation and progress reports as requested.

    Manage staff’s adherence to productivity expectations.

    Identify staffing needs. Recruit, interview, hire and train new staff.

    Cooperatively and actively participate in all assigned staff and supervisory meetings as well as in service trainings and staff development activities.

    Provide Community Support services or other functions of a Qualified Mental Health Professional [QMHP] as appropriate, necessary and/or required.

    Participate in program design and development.

    TRAVEL

    This position requires travel of approximately 10% of the time.

    REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

    Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services

    2 years of administrative and/or managerial experience

    PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    5 years related experience and/or training,.
