    Family Preservation Services (FPS) of North Carolina has collaborated with Pathways.

    FPS Team is seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as is seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Walk-In Therapist, under the direction and supervision of the Adult Outpatient Services Supervisor is responsible for providing assessment and therapy services for adults as well as linking to needed crisis supports and additional services, children and/or families. The therapist is responsible for functions of coordinating, managing, supporting and facilitating appropriate services to meet the needs of individual clients and/or families. The therapist is also responsible for the provision of case management if necessary. This position will be primarily with consumers referred to the crisis center and will be responsible for additional data gathering and reporting.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Master’s Degree in the Human Services field. The individual must hold an unrestricted license issued by a licensing board in one of the following disciplines: psychology, psychiatry, social work, or counseling (LCSW, LPC, LCAS or LMFT)

    OR

    Master’s Degree in the Human Services field. The individual must hold an unrestricted license issued by a licensing board in one of the following disciplines: psychology, psychiatry, social work, or counseling (LCSW-P, LMFT-A, LPC-A or LCAS)

    3 years related experience and/or training (Full Licensure Preferred)

    Must have documented experience providing treatment to children/adolescents with severe and persistent mental illness and/or substance abuse illness

    Must possess a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record

    This position requires travel of approximately 10% of the time

    Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
