Regional Coordinator - 1086750
SUMMARY
The Regional Coordinator, under the supervision of the State Director or Regional Director, is responsible for supervision and coordination of all clinical and financial aspects of FPS. The Regional Coordinator is responsible for the supervision of Managers, Coordinators, Team Leaders and regional administrative staff. The Regional Coordinator performs liaison functions with referring agents and is responsible for quality management of all clinical functions. He/she will perform related duties as required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Personnel management to include participating in any disciplinary action that may need to take place
Maintaining and monitoring the financial aspect of the provision of services and effectively working within budgetary constraints.
Responsible for the oversight of Program Regulations (both fiscal and reporting requirements).
Clinical records oversight (management and supervision).
Coordinates with the referring agent, the treatment team and the client / family to supervise and monitor the treatment goals and objectives for all FPS cases.
Investigates and mediates complaints and/or concerns between staff and client / families, staff and referring agents and collateral sources.
Participate in all assigned administrative, supervisory, staff and team meetings; participate in in-service training and staff development activities as scheduled.
Participates in developing and monitoring programs, policies, procedures and practices in keeping with FPS and community standards as well as with Contract and Licensure requirements.
Coordinates with Managers / Directors / Team Leaders to develop and administrate the key functions of FPS.
Maintains positive community, customer and client relations; presents information on FPS services as required.
Maintains accurate supervisory and administrative records as required; submits all reports in timely fashion.
Participate in staff evaluations.
Participates in Quality Improvement or Compliance activities and projects as needed or as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervision of all staff in the assigned region.
Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of program units throughout the Region.

TRAVEL
This position requires travel of approximately 50% of the time.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
3 years of increasing responsibility and/or management experience.
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services
5 years related experience and/or training, licensure preferred.

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints. Ability to write speeches and articles using original or innovative techniques or style. Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations. Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
