    Are you ready to bring the fun? The Y, a leading non-profit dedicated to making a positive impact in our community, is looking for someone just like you! If you have a passion for working with kids and love creating memorable experiences, this role is the perfect fit.

    Location: Most of our programming is at our facility at 298 College Street, there's a chance for other locations as we grow our programming.

    Schedule: This position is perfect for a highschool or college student looking to work at least a few hours weekly. With the opportunity to sign up for shifts using Zoom Shift, our scheduling system you're able to work how many hours you want with offerings on weekends and weekdays throughout the day.

    What You’ll Do:

    Be a Fun-Maker: You’ll create a playful and engaging environment for children under 12, helping them learn and grow through play, mini-sports, dance, gymnastics, and more!

    Lead Awesome Activities: Get hands-on by setting up equipment, organizing games, leading crafts, and creating age-appropriate content for classes and activities.

    Build Relationships: Take attendance, connect with kids, and tailor your approach to meet each child's unique needs.

    Ensure Safety: Supervise participants, enforce safety, and keep the good times rolling smoothly.

    Be a Role Model: Demonstrate the Y’s core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility in everything you do.

    Qualifications:

    Age Requirement: Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age.

    Skills: Demonstrate effective leadership skills with proven ability to maintain a positive and encouraging environment with children.

    Attitude: Energetic, can-do attitude with a genuine passion for helping children grow, learn, and have fun.

    Transportation: Reliable transportation for consistent and punctual attendance.
