    Job Overview

    We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented individual to join our finance team as an Accounting Purchasing Assistant.

    The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting our back-office and purchasing area by assisting with procurement processes (Order.Co), managing vendor relationships, manage recurring orders for the branches, reconciling invoices, and ensuring accurate financial records. This position requires strong organizational skills, proficiency in various accounting software, Excel, and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members across various departments. Will work closely with our operational branches in the field across WA, OR and ID. Must live within PNW.

    Responsibilities

    1. Assist in the procurement process by researching potential vendors, obtaining quotes, and negotiating terms and pricing.
    2. Ensure accurate documentation of all purchasing transactions.
    3. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to determine procurement needs and prioritize purchases accordingly.
    4. Maintain vendor relationships by addressing inquiries, resolving discrepancies, and negotiating favorable terms.
    5. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
    6. Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes by providing necessary documentation and support.
    7. Maintain organized filing systems for vendor contracts, purchase orders, and invoices.

    Requirements

    1. Proven experience (1-2 years) in accounting, purchasing, or a related role.
    2. Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
    3. Proficiency in various SaaS software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Office suite.
    4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    5. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced growth environment.
    6. Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
    7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    8. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
    9. Familiarity with procurement processes and vendor management practices is preferred.
