Specific Duties with qualitative and quantitative measures of performance:
- Accepts referrals for investigations allegations of abuse, neglect, and /or exploitation of adults that meet criteria for a valid report.
- Will receive more complex cases, with more than one type of alleged abuse, neglect, or exploitation
- Will receive cases with higher level of skill/experience than FSSI
- Will receive cases that may have multiple alleged perpetrators
- Will receive both priority and emergency cases
- Conduct investigations in community, licensed residential settings, licensed group homes, licensed day programs, and unlicensed residential settings.
- Conduct face to face interviews with alleged victims, alleged perpetrators, and other collateral contacts.
- Collect and evaluate relevant information to make decisions related to investigation, services and outcomes.
- Complete documentation and casework within required timeframes based on local and/or state guidelines.
- Assess vulnerable adult's cognition, physical, mental and functional abilities.
- Coordinates and collaborates with appropriate licensing agencies, law enforcement agencies, legal entities, contractors/providers, Physicians, hospitals and numerous community agencies, in order to provide services to vulnerable adults.
