Job Description

As a Family Therapist at Flourishing Peaceful Families, you will provide non-medical therapeutic services that strengthen family relationships and promote healthy communication. You will work with families to identify challenges, develop strategies for problem-solving, and build resilience as a unit.

Responsibilities:

Conduct family therapy sessions to improve communication, resolve conflicts, and support healthier dynamics.

Provide psychoeducation to families about relationship patterns and strategies for growth.

Support families experiencing transitions, stress, or trauma.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date family records, treatment plans, and documentation.

Work collaboratively with team members to ensure holistic and coordinated care.

Participate in professional development and regular team meetings.

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field.

State licensure or certification.

Proven experience working with families in therapeutic settings.

Strong skills in communication, mediation, and systems thinking.

Ability to work independently and within a team structure.
