The primary responsibility of the Practice Manager is to work closely with the chief of staff and associate veterinarians, support staff, and with central leadership, to provide the highest quality medical, patient, and client care. We strive for a culture of teamwork, growth, and compassion in our hospitals and the practice manager will be a key member of driving that culture and ensuring every patient and client receives an exceptional experience.

Overview:
Work closely with Chief of Staff to lead and manage the support staff team
Perform managerial duties such as inventory, HR, manage protocols, maintain OSHA compliance, performance evaluations, and training
Help create and drive a culture of teamwork, employee growth, and compassion for all patients and clients
Receive mentorship and support from experienced Regional Director of Operations
Create an environment that provides clients with an unmatched veterinary care experience
Lead and inspire the support staff to go above and beyond for every patient and client
Work with company leadership to optimize workflow, enact new processes, and drive initiatives
Support the chief of staff in delivering high medical standards and quality of care for every patient
Maintain a community presence via participation in local events
Work with company leadership to ensure effective marketing strategies
Skills and Basic Qualifications:
1 - 3+ years of veterinary practice management experience or veterinary supervisor/managerial experience (inventory management, HR duties, protocol management, etc); CVPM preferred but not required
1 - 3+ years of veterinary technician experience (certification preferred, but not required)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Enable the technical staff to best support the practicing the highest standard of medicine

The ability to coach, correct, develop, and motivate employees
Demonstrates excellent time and task management
