    Looking for a full-time Chief of Staff candidate for our hospital in Bedford (DFW), TX. We are a very successful 1.25 doctor practice with a 27-year legacy, and we have a brand new hospital currently under construction. We will have all new technology (paperless, cloud-based practice management software, tablets), new equipment (dental x-ray, IDEXX laboratory machines, digital x-ray, etc), and aesthetic design, all designed to capture a younger, tech-enabled and family-centric audience.

    Our group has a young leadership team, led by doctors who support innovation and modern technology, but are maintaining family-owned local flavor with a large emphasis on community involvement. We have significant resources and commitment to forward-thinking tools, technology, and equipment, and encourage suggestions from our employees on how to continue to make improvements.     The primary responsibilities of the Chief of Staff are to lead our Bedford team effectively with the help of our practice manager, to practice high-quality veterinary care, provide excellent customer service to our clients, and a dedication to continuing education and development of the entire team. Ideal qualities include being personable, confident, hardworking, and dedicated to high-quality companion animal general practice (internal medicine and general surgery).

    Skills and Basic Qualifications:

    DVM or equivalent from an accredited university

    Texas license in good standing or eligible for licensure in Texas

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics

    The ability to delegate responsibility and achieve results with hospital team members

    Demonstrates excellent time and task management

    Demonstrates professional and courteous presentation with staff and clients

    Strong relationship building skills

    High energy, passion, and drive to be successful

    Fast learner, able to multi-task and be flexible to change

    Ability to think creatively and problem solve

    Team player who can work effectively in a fast-growing, dynamic environment
