Our long term nanny has made the decision to leave NYC and we are looking for a replacement. Parents both work out of the house, Children (10 and 12) need responsible adult to meet them after school (or pick them up from after school), guidance with homework, meals prepared and general help keeping the evening on schedule. Hours are variable but generally Monday - Thursday: 3:30 or 4pm - 7:30/8pm. Occasional Friday hours but that is flexible. We are looking for an after school sitter that is caring, flexible, upbeat and has experience. Specific Duties include: Childcare Household errands Homework supervision School Activities Pick up 2-3/d week Cooking for Children Light Housework including light cleaning, keeping kitchen organized, etc. (we have a housekeeper for deep cleaning, etc. but sitter is responsible for cleaning up after each day's activities) 3 - 5+ years of experience Proficiency in Spanish is a + but not required Experience Tutoring is a + but not required
