JOB SUMMARY: Fancypants is just about to open to the public in East Nashville, and we are looking for motivated and team-oriented servers/bartenders to join our opening team. We value community and hospitality above all else - extending it to our customers, co-workers, suppliers, and neighbors.
This position is for a fine-dining style bartender that occasionally works serving shifts. The team will be very small and will require self-motivation, organizational skills, and an eye for detail. The house is pooled, and only 4-5 team members are working service at a time.
Bartenders at Fancypants craft the guest experience from beginning to end. They're knowledgeable about their products and are detail-oriented, putting care into each drink poured. Responsibilities will include prep, using recipes, wine and beer knowledge/education, and building both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Bartenders assist FOH with guest service, maintain organization and cleanliness of the service bar, and assist with to-go orders.
REQUIREMENTS, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Must be 21 years of age or older
Previous restaurant experience of at least 2 years
Previous bartending experience required
Must be available to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Fancypants will be open for dinner service, Thursday to Sunday.
Organized, quick thinking, adept at multitasking
Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to maintain focus and upbeat demeanor in fast-paced environment
