    Job Description

    FANDOM – the largest global entertainment platform powered by fans – is seeking a Manager of Product Marketing for our expanding set of Audience and Data products (B2B) to craft a B2B marketing narrative around our rapidly expanding global fan platform. The Manager will be a key strategic partner for the product and revenue teams, responsible for identifying strategic revenue opportunities and developing client-facing messaging and materials around our 315M monthly users and related data and targeting opportunities both direct and programmatically. 

    The ideal candidate will have a passion for entertainment and pop culture, a deep understanding of product marketing and digital audience data and the creativity and communication skills to help Fandom deliver compelling and high-performance opportunities for our partners. The position is intended to eventually sit in our San Francisco office but we will also consider remote candidates. This role will report to the Vice President of Sales Marketing & Insights.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

    • Serve as the revenue team's primary liaison with the product organization and surface the needs and requirements of clients.
    • Collaborate on new product launches that balance commercial opportunity and business needs.
    • Build and roll out a suite of materials that will help our global sales organization more effectively package our programmatic advertising offerings and behavioral targeting capabilities.
    • Partner with Sales Insights to productize and roll out a comprehensive data/insights offering.
    • Partner with the Sales team to collect regular feedback from key clients and prospects, form business requirements and prioritize product development.
    • Conduct regular market research into competitive audience/data products and the overall market landscape and communicate findings across the organization.
    • Identify key themes in Fandom's audience and data products that can be used in thought leadership programs to help position Fandom to clients as the top source for fan insights and engagement.

     

    SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

      • Passionate about media and knowledgeable about entertainment, gaming & fan culture
        • 7-9 years of experience in product marketing, with a focus on digital media & advertising
          • Working understanding of B2B marketing
        • Must have a focus on/experience with programmatic and data-led digital marketing 
        • Experience partnering with fast-paced, high performing sales and product teams 
        • Curious, creative and critical thinker with history of identifying and commercializing compelling opportunities
        • Comfortable presenting and operating in a client-facing role
        • Superior written & oral communication skills
        • Organized, detail oriented and proactive
        • Comfortable working/designing in PowerPoint, Google Slides 
        • Past experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions/programs
