    Position Overview:  Human Resources Administrator will assist the HR Team with the administrative duties for new hires classes. additional  activities including human resources process management, recruitment, selection,  This candidate will work side by side with the recruiting and HR team to ensure efficient and accurate on-boarding and off-boarding proce

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

    • Interact regularly with RHRM to keep them appraised of Human Resources (HR) activities and issues, and seek their counsel at key decision points.
    • Work side by side with the Recruiting Team to ensure timely on-boarding. 
    • Provide a Monthly HR Report summarizing key HR activity accomplished each month
    • Provide a welcome and a company orientation to new employees who have already completed their on-boarding process provided by the Recruiting Department and are ready for help with learning about the company and its structure, accessing their Employee Handbooks, learning how to fill in electronic timecards, etc.
    • Enter new employees into e-Verify and the KRONOS Human Resources Information System (HRIS) within the regulatory timeframe
    • Maintain complete, secure and orderly employee records and archives; when requested, pull personnel records from the archives
    • Process terminations paperwork within the regulatory timeframe
    • Handle administrative functions including Workers Compensation administration (i.e., advising employees how to access their coverage), processing Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) requests, Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC) paperwork, etc.
    • Submit annual employment reports as required by federal and state law; fulfill basic Human Resources legal compliance functions and reporting for the organization such as the annual Equal Employment Opportunity (EEOC) Report, veteran hiring report (VETS 4212), etc
    • Conduct exit interviews and share the resulting feedback.
    • Other similar duties as assigned.

    Job Requirements:

      JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    •Undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience

    •2 - 5 years’ experience in HR.

    •PHR or SPHR certification preferred

    Proficiencies:

    •Possess ability to work with MS Office and a working knowledge of HRIS including Payroll, Time and Attendance

    •Understanding of employment law, employee rights, payroll and benefits and COBRA

    •Must have the ability to work independently with support from corporate and/or regional managers.

    •Strong oral and written communication and proven organizational skills

    •Detail-oriented and accurate

    •Ability to management other administrative professionals, delegate duties, prioritize, and follow up

    •Ability to maintain confidentiality
