Tax and accounting firm with a diverse clientele in Turnersville, NJ seeks an experienced tax accountant. We are looking for a motivated individual with a tax and accounting background and industry experience to work at our firm. The candidate would be an experienced accountant who will proactively collaborate with clients and build successful relationships. Opportunity to grow and take on a management role.

Must be proficient in QuickBooks, Microsoft Office Suite and Tax Preparation Software (preferably Drake Tax).

Responsibilities:

• Prepare all types of tax returns, with proficiency and a high degree of accuracy.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop, QBO, Drake Tax, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Prepare and analyze Profit & Loss Statements and Balance Sheets.
• Must be able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve accounting issues for clients.
• Must be well organized, a self-starter, detail orientated, and a team player.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in tax preparation.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent credentials (preferred)
