We connect to over 60 endpoints to help our customers become versatile e-commerce participants. We automate their connections between their business systems and popular marketplaces and carts such as Amazon, Shopify, eBay, Newegg, Buy.com, Magento, Shipwire, and more.

We are looking for a talented self-motivated individual to fill our newly created Site Reliability Engineer role. Your primary focus will be to optimize solutions for our operations team. Your time will be split between helping the operations team with their support tasks and integrations while gathering data and identifying ways to automate tasks to enhance our software. This will require you to work closely with both the operations team and engineering team, acting as a liaison for operations.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and manage operational issues; determine how to prevent them in the future
• Automate common tasks to reduce manual work
• Build permanent solutions to common system failures and bugs
• Identify ways to enhance the efficiency of our software
• Provide technical support to our solutions team

Requirements:

• BS degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 2+ years of experience as a software engineer, AND 2+ years of experience in system operations.
• Accountability and a sense of urgency. E-commerce is a fast-paced environment and we need someone that can evaluate issues and respond appropriately.
• Ability to communicate effectively with multiple teams and occasionally, clients.
•  Very strong problem-solving skills. A big component of the role is solving small but intricately involved puzzles.
• Experience with e-commerce, logistics, or any leg of the e-commerce world is a plus.
