    About the Solutions Consultant Associate position.  

    This is a great role for a recent college graduate or someone with only 1-2 years of experience in the workforce.  

    The Solutions Consultant Associate is a great stepping stone to being a full Solutions Consultant here at FarApp. No particular experience is required but having solid problem-solving skills and a substantial comfort with software systems is a big requirement here.  

    After training and shadowing more experienced team members, you will be providing enterprise-level technical support to our customers, in addition to providing solutions and consultation to their eCommerce business needs. As a Solutions Consultant Associate, you will provide support via phone, web, email, and other channels to some of the largest, and more dynamic customers in the eCommerce space. To be clear, this isn't a tech support role where you'll be following a tree diagram on how to reset passwords or change an email address. Our system and our customer systems have thousands of configurations that you will have to navigate to solve how to integrate major software services like Amazon, Shopify, and NetSuite.  

    Our Solutions Team has a significant impact on the organization as a whole and it requires frequent use of independent judgment and critical decision-making skills. Ultimately, you will be the technical expert, providing advice, and have technical aptitude in all things eCommerce. Measures of success include facilitating current clients with their eCommerce automation needs, new clients being successfully onboarded, and helping improve product documentation and development.

    FarApp is a rapidly growing eCommerce automation solution company.  It's a fancy way of saying we move customer's data around. Simple in concept, but deep and complex when you get into the weeds. We have the technology to adapt our connectors into thousands of configurations to meet our growing customer demands. Our team needs to be experts in the field, instructing people on leading practices, walking customers through their configurations and setups, and brainstorming solutions to varied and unusual problems.  

    What you'll do:  

    • Take ownership of customer issues reported and see problems through to resolution by providing excellent consultative technical support  
    • Assist customers with resolving technical issues/errors with their live production environments   
    • Follow standard methods for proper escalation of unsolved issues to the appropriate internal teams  
    • Consult customers on their eCommerce business processes, the industry-leading practices, and potential customized solutions for their business  
    • Maintain deep technical knowledge of FarApp solutions, industry directions, and trends while maintaining knowledge of competitor products  
    • Provide timely and detailed feedback to customers  
    • Ensure proper recording and closure of all issues  
    • Document knowledge in the form of knowledge base tech notes and articles

      

    Qualifications:  

    • BS/BA degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in IT or similar field
    • Self-motivated 
    • Thrives in a team environment  
    • Exceptional problem-solving skills  
    • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills  
    • Internship experience is a big plus.   
    • Strong technical background or experience is also a bit plus, either via work or school.
