The Marketing Coordinator assists in planning and executing sales as well as driving traffic to our amazing food hall in downtown Austin. This position manages our 3rd-Party and our owned Social Media Channels to drive positive brand perception and awareness in the marketplace. The Coordinator also works to increase online review ratings & scores. The Marketing Coordinator assists with the daily creation & execution of social media efforts, the internal and external monthly email campaigns, and local marketing initatives & photoshoots for Fareground Food Hall. This position will be a resource for the Marketing team and restaurant teams in assisting with administrative tasks as needed. A successful candidate will promote a company culture in which internal and external customer satisfaction is the primary concern, maintain knowledge of competition and industry trends, will be proficient in Online Review Management and Social Media Management Tools.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing/media/communications/advertising is preferred
• Minimum of 1-2 years experience in advertising or marketing or a related field
• Ability to effectively organize and manage multiple tasks and projects within assigned deadline
• Excellent verbal and communication skills in order to convey innovative ideas, as well as to build trust and cultivate relationships with coworkers, customers and vendor
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to details
• High degree of adaptability and flexibility in order to accommodate change requests and priority shifts
• Must be a self-starter, someone who doesn’t like to be micro-managed
• Ability to anticipate future roadblocks and find potential solutions (pro-active versus reactive)
• Efficient with time management and adhering to deadlines
• Photography experience is a plus.
