    Job Description

    FARJAMI & FARJAMI LLP, an intellectual property law firm in Orange County, seeks a paralegal with a Bachelor's degree and a Paralegal Certificate, and with excellent academic credentials. Excellent writing and organizing skills, and ability to work well as part of a team are among the requirements. Competitive salary, vacation pay, and health insurance are offered.

    DUTIES MAY INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

    • Preparing emails and letters to clients, vendors, and others.
    • Preparing documents for filing in the U.S. patent office, and preparing letters to foreign associates.
    • Using Timeslips to enter time and disbursements.
    • Preparing reminders to clients.
    • Determining applicable legal deadlines, and docketing (calendaring) same.
    • Reviewing docket of pending cases and preparing reports and reminders.
    • Online research.
    • Preparing Visio drawings, organizing files, scanning and organizing documents on the Firm's server(s).
    • Interfacing with attorneys and paralegals on a regular basis (both attorneys and paralegals inside the firm and in-house paralegals of the firm's clients).
    • Some accounting, computerized checks writing, and record keeping and related tasks may also be required.
    • A wide range of computer programs will be used.
