Administrative Assistant – Idaho Farm Bureau Federation

Responsibilities: • Provide full administrative support to a dynamic three-member team based in downtown Boise, Idaho. • Serve as administrative assistant to four state-wide committees. • In coordination with the Chairmen, send invitations, create agendas, keep minutes, arrange meals, and other necessary preparations/logistics for the various committee meetings held in the building and at remote locations. • Oversee and manage editing, proofreading, printing, and distribution of annual publications and other materials as assigned. • Create and format spreadsheets, brochures, infographics, etc. as requested. • Proofread letters, articles, and other correspondence from team members to ensure correct grammar, punctuation, and clear expression of ideas and thought flow. • Edit, publish, and distribute the weekly legislative e-newsletter. • Perform research as requested by team members. • File all regulatory reports and other legal filings in an accurate and timely manner. • Answer phones, greet visitors, and direct inquiries to the proper team members. • Perform other similar duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications: Education: High school graduate or GED.Experience: 3 plus years of experience as an administrative assistant; or an administrative assistant certificate from a recognized program; or equivalent college experience. Familiarity with agriculture and/or the legislative process is a plus.Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis on Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Mail Chimp and Adobe InDesign or other publishing software experience is a plus. Compensation: $45,000 Annually
