In the Northern Idaho market, we are experiencing huge growth. This will allow a new agent to build his/her book of business quickly. Responsibilities: • Spend time listening to existing, new, and prospective clients to evaluate their needs and stage-of-life priorities before presenting insurance plan options for their specific circumstances • Collaborate with policyholders to develop insurance risk management and other profiles that specify the best policies for their evolving insurance needs • Take ownership of ensuring there are accurate records of all necessary bookkeeping, client, and sales reports in order to track and communicate the status of assigned goals • Maintain a portfolio of existing customers and pursue insurance sales with new clients by using sales strategies that may include cold calling and networking • Stay abreast of any changes to rules or policies within the insurance agency to effectively amend insurance programs for existing and prospective clients Qualifications: • College or equivalent work experience. • Prior sales experience strongly preferred. • Organizational and time management skills. • Demonstrate strong interpersonal communication ability. • Success-driven, with a passion for sales and providing solutions. • Looking for outgoing business drivers who can effectively tell our unique story. • The ideal candidate has a positive attitude and a desire to put the needs of clients first. • Licenses: You will be required to be licensed in property, casualty, life and health insurance before attending our paid training program. No license needed to apply! Compensation: $60,000 - $90,000 first year
